EUROPEAN RESPIRATORY SOCIETY’S 2Oth ANUAL CONGRESS, BARCELONA, 18th to 22th September

This year is truly special as we will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of the ERS. In addition to this special occasion, 2010 is the Year of the Lung. Special scientific and social events are being planned.

The event take place in the Fira Barcelona Gran Via venue, (Plaza Europa, Avenida Juan Carlos I, 58).

The timming comprise all areas related to research, practice and education: Educational Programme with covers all aspects of respiratory medicine, and will include Seminars, Postgraduate courses, workshops and the third HERMES European Examination. The scientific Programme will run from Sunday 19 September to Wednesday 22 September 2010 with 20 sessions in parallel, including: more than 80 Symposia, Free Communication sessions, 166 Thematic Poster sessions and Sponsored Evening Symposia.

The Fira de Barcelona Congress Centre plays a strategic role in the Catalan and Spanish economies as a platform for economic promotion and international projection of exhibitors.  It provides excellent and modern facilities, and is easily accessible by public transport.
