The most fascinating views of Barcelona

There are the endless amount of things to do in Barcelona, whether you are interested in cultural development or you are just into chilling at the beaches or eat out at fancy restaurants. You may always find the way to have fun and satisfy your needs. Often some of the entertainments can be costly, but there are always some things you can enjoy absolutely for free. One of them is enjoying the magnificent views of Barcelona. Below, I will mention “must visit” viewpoints, from where you can see the best panoramic views of Barcelona.

Tibidabo

Tibidabo is 512 meters high mountain overlooking Barcelona. There are several possibilities to reach it. The most extraordinary one, in my opinion, is by funicular railway, but you may also get there by car or by bus. At the top you may not only enjoy the view but also visit amusement park or a Catholic church (to be more specific the Temple of the Sacred Heart of Jesus).

Monjuic

Monjuic hill is another place with fantastic views of Barcelona and the Mediterranean Sea. The easiest and fastest way to get there is by metro (lines L2/ L3). We recommend starting your journey right at the top of the mountain. In the castle you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Barcelona harbor.

Park Guell

Park Guell is one of the most impressive public parks not only in Barcelona but in the whole world. Famous architect Antonio Gaudi designed it. Besides the fact that the park contains amazing stone structures, stunning tiling and fascinating buildings, you may enjoy the whole city of Barcelona.

Bunkers of Carmen

In the district of ”El Carmel” you will find one of the most beautiful, spacious and charming areas of the city Bunkers del Carmel viewpoint on the Rovira’s hill, from which you will be able to enjoy one the best panoramic 360 degree views of the city. At the top of the hill you will also find bunkers which were used as anticraft batteries, built during Spanish Civil War in order to defend the city.
