Tapas are a wide variety of appetizers or snacks in Spanish cuisine. They may be hot or cold depending on the products. There’s a huge variety of sweet, savoury and spicy tapas to taste in almost every corner of Catalan capital. Patatas bravas

Potatoes are usually fried in oil before being served with either a spicy tomato-based sauce or (what is more typical for Catalonia) alongside aioli.

Gambas al ajillo

Gambas al ajillo are fresh prawns that are cooked in sizzling olive oil with garlic and chilli peppers.

Ensaladilla rusa

Russian salad- potato salad mixed with mayo, peas and vegetables like carrots. This salad has Russian roots, but the dish id popular across the entire Spain.

Gazpacho

Gazpacho is a cold tomato soup originally from the southern Spanish region of Andlusia. Vegetables like garlic, onions, and peppers will be mixed with oil and added to the soup. This dish is perfect during the hot summer months.

Tortilla de patatas

Tortilla de patatas is an omelette made with potatoes bound with egg usually flavoured with onions. This tapa could be served cold or warm.
