Hotels and Restaurants at 50% discount in Barcelona

This week you can enjoy discounts of 50% in hotels and restaurants in Barcelona until next February 5th. Entertainment industry like theaters, cinemas, markets, galleries and museums are also participating on the Opportunity Week.
The proposal was launched by Barcelona Tourism and this year has reached its second edition adding 20% more operators who want to participate in the Opportunity Week.
The concept of the Opportunity Week is that the “barceloneces” can feel like tourists in their city. You’ll enjoy museums at half of their price or stay in a 4 or 5 stars hotels. Also you’ll be able to get discount in airline tickets and better prices in a wide selection of restaurants.
There are a total of 48 restaurants in the city of Barcelona that will discounts this week. There are restaurants that are going to offer a closed menu of 25 euros plus VAT. Also, those restaurants which are usually 70 euros menu, you can enjoy it for only 35 euros.

UB40 in Barcelona

FESPA Digital 2012

The Brandery Winter Edition 2012

Once again,  ”The Brandery” returns in its Winter edition to the Fira de Barcelona. The event will be held from 27 until 29 January 2012.
The Brandery is the meeting ponit of all professionals in the fashion’s world and is the place to expose ideas, trends, designs and business models. The site that hosts this
prestigious event will be the Fira de Barcelona and it is located on Avenida María Cristina(Montjuic).
It is a fair that is not only intended for the marketing of the companies involved, because
the general public can also enjoy parades, exhibitions and concerts such as: 2manydjs, Dorian and Undo, Fangoria, The Zombie Kids and Buenavista .

Pitbull in Barcelona 2012

For the first time in Spain, the singer Pitbull will perform in Madrid and Barcelona. The next 26th of January, Pitbull will give a concert at the Palau Olimpic de Badalona (Barcelona), and on 27th January, the concert will be in Madrid. Pitbull is nowadays one of the most famous latin artist in the international scene. He has collaborated with Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, Shakira and Enrique Iglesias. His songs are top’s list in every discos and night’s clubs.

Dinosaurs at the Cosmocaixa

From February 17 until March 18 you can enjoy the exhibition: Dinosaurs, treasures of the Gobi’s desert.
The exhibition will have 43 pieces of original fossils found in excavations in Mongolia and China. Also, you will find the single embryon egg of an Oviraptor and the skull of a velociraptor.
Dinosaurs ruled the Earth for over 160 million years. Since the earliest discoveries of dinosaur skeletons and eggs in 1922, the palaeontological research in the People’s Republic of Mongolia has attracted the attention of experts and the ordinary people everywhere.

Cabalgata de Reyes 2012

La Cabalgata de Reyes or The Three Kings Parade in Barcelona is one of the biggest parade on Spain. On the evening of the 5th january the three kings, Balthasar, Gaspar and Melchior, arrive to the Barcelona’s Port where a lots of families recieve them with joy.

On the night of the three Kings of the East, children and adults fill the streets of Barcelona to attend the traditional parade. The three kings arrive by sea, and make a tour through the streets of Barcelona, ​​from the port to Montjuic, throwing candy to children on the streets and picking up cards with their wishes. Do not miss this exciting festival.

The Major of Barcelona will recieve the Three Kings in Moll de la Fusta at 17:00. After this, the parade will begin in Marquès de l’Argentera’s avenue at (18:30), then in Via Laietana (19.15h), in plaça Urquinaona (19.35h), then in plaça de Catalunya and Pelai’s street (19.45h), plaça de la Universitat i Ronda de Sant Antoni (20.05h), Sepúlveda’s street (20.30h), Paral·lel’s avenue (21.00h), Reina Maria Cristina’s avenue (21.20h).

Everything is prepare to entertain the children these holidays in Barcelona

All the theatres, cinemas and museums of Barcelona, are ready to receive and entertain the       little ones this Christmas.

If you looking for MUSIC, the Liceu’s Theater has prepared a show named”Petruixka”, directed by Marc Hervàs from Príncep Totilau’s Company.
